At a reverse wedding the reception is held before the ceremony instead of after. As opposed to a traditional format, a reverse wedding is neither as structured nor as formal. Reverse weddings work well for an afternoon garden party approach and are quite unique.
During a reverse wedding, brides are typically more relaxed than during a traditional wedding. The bride is able to greet her guests as they arrive. She can be accompanied by friends & family to the ceremony instead of going alone. This strengthens and supports a young bride.
